I don't know why 'Dennis' only receives a 4.7 rating on IMDb because it is a rather enjoyable film with plenty of cute/funny moments that leave you chuckling so surely deserves a few points more.

I am very biased on the 9 rating i gave this movie.
The 2 rating provided IS generous - this has to be one of the worst movies ever- POOR acting, POOR storyline, POOR production....disjointed, unrealistic and filled with inane script and scenes alike.
I completely understand this movie has a low rating here, but still I give it a 10 out of 10! Why?
As you see from the 7 rating, its not a great film.
I give this a high rating simply because of George C. Scott and Marlon Brando, who rise above muddled material and breathe life into an otherwise clunky TV movie.

If you look at the rating percentages, there are next to no 8's and 9's, which is a very good and reasonable score for a movie that is as good as some say it is.

Don't get sucked in by the higher rating.
This is not as funny as their earlier films, Duck Soup and A Night At The Opera, but this is totally worth a rating of ten stars!
