Matrix, just try to see it as a struggle playing out, in which everybody thinks they're right, and even if you disagree with them, everybody has some reasons for what they're doing.
And if you do that, that's the essential move to cultivate
moral
humility, to get yourself out of this self-righteousness, which is the normal human condition.
Think about the enormous
moral
authority of the Dalai Lama.
It comes from his
moral
humility.
For example, there's excellent reason to believe that virtually all humans are born with a

sense, and that we have cognitive abilities that allow us to profit from the lessons of history.
But his greatness consisted, and historians would roundly agree, in the integrity of his character and the

obligation and start thinking of it as a source of pleasure.
