Speaking of which, the

doesn't start properly till 50 minutes in or so and the lighting doesn't allow for any significant nastiness, though a couple of the kills are mildly satisfying in a rock bottom kind of cheapo style.
Oh, no: they're going to use a saw to open her womb and take out the baby while

Edge follows one survivor, an ex-soldier who survived the holocaust thanks to being in a motorway tunnel when the attack happened, make his way through the contaminated wastelands in search of the wife and child he left at home on the morning of the war.
However, this is a good film if you can manage to open your mind and revel in its utter crapulence, so many plot holes, such little acting talent, bad costumes, bad props, bad sets, bad sound, you will wonder exactly how it was possible for someone to make such a rubbish film?! Furthermore, every time I have watched the
killing
edge I am left feeling utterly depressed, there are no high points to the film whatsoever.
We get a brief history lesson at the beginning of the movie about how the Plague swept through London in 1665,

15% of the city's population in a single summer.
I thought wrong I somehow kept expecting someone to straighten up, and shout "JUST KIDDING!" or Darth Vader leaping in and start

things with his light-saber, god that would own, but no.
The script (that could have become a pretty deep,disconcerting and realistic view over the original idea the movie starts on), was totally dashed by a deficiency in keeping any fact believable or sustained on any grounds, in total gaps in the story that make absolute no sense like:(why the crew stayed to the
killing
night and didn't warned anybody?wouldn't that make them accomplices?...why would they think the killer would let them go away clean, if by his own statements on the documentary, the idea was: No witness?, etc, etc, etc.....).
My main problem with "Manhattan Midnight" is that it tries too much (especially with that overbearing music score) to play like some sort of poetic tragedy, when its main character is a smug, unredeemable professional killer who doesn't mind
killing
innocent people (the "second" Maggie twin being an exception), and whom by the end you'll probably want to see dead as well.
They do manage to bite a few people too, and after one teacher at a school for autistic children is bitten, another teacher captures one & good old Doc sees what's biting (and killing) the folks that have expired in his exam room.
There is a start in this movie, but then all that happens is
killing
of the brain cell kind.
In this movie the serial killer is known as The Avenger and is
killing
blondes, which has the fair-haired girls of London worried.
The premise of hunters stalking and
killing
humans is of course nothing new, from 'The Most Dangerous Game' to the 'Predator' movies, but rarely has the idea been done as well with a low budget.
Is it because there no real insight to the

It looks like you should start being scared about what's going on, but you aren't... and after that plane scene the overlong style is still
killing
this movie more and more, slowly until its end.

All this is handed down to us by an extremely heavy-handed director (Giovanni is responsible for writing some of the best scripts in French cinema and should have left directing to directors), complete with lines such as "People will march on the streets!" and Gabin's final judgment on society "It's a
killing
machine".
It's a really lame and boring horror effort with an occasional gory
killing.
