So this video here is a reconstruction of paleogeography for just the first 600 million years of earth's history.

So I'm going to give you an example of this and take you to a special time in earth's past.

So ultimately, as long as earth's surface is our home, we need to carefully manage the resources and risks associated with living in dynamic environments.

And I think the only way we can really do that sustainably is if we include information about how landscapes evolved and behaved in earth's past.
